Moodle quizzes ( http://docs.moodle.org/en/Quiz_module )
  • Teacher can see who practiced, how long it took them to practice, their score and the # of attempts before correct answer.
  • Quizzes provide feedback to students, builds their confidence
  • Item Analysis provides feedback for teacher and can be exported to Excel.
  • Quizzes can be imported from ExamView
  • Teachers add questions to the question bank, which makes the questions available to all editing teachers.

Process:
  • Click Questions from Administration block to add all the questions you may want to use.
  • Enter quiz name as the Question name (organizational tip)
  • Enter question in the box.
  • Images can be included in the questions
  • Multiple choice worth one point - enter a 1 and 1
  • Enter choices in the Choice boxes
  • No points for answers = None for Grade
  • Save Changes

Once all questions are entered, then you create the quiz.
  • From a main block>Choose Add an Activity.
  • Set all the settings
  • *Security - Secure window? No will mean no pop ups.
  • Save and return to course

Once the quiz activity is created, then add the questions from the question bank.
  • Images can be added to quizzes, but must be added to Moodle in advance.
